What Was Your Favorite Part about the Weekend?

Toddler response: Painting my toe nails. (RE)Member? I took a nappy (she did not) and then you woke up and painted my toe nails. That is my favorite part of the weekend.

Yes, that was the most exciting thing that happened to her this weekend. Not all the other fun things we did:

Daddy taking his two ladies out to dinner

She was so excited to get dressed and go to dinner. Basically from the time she woke up on Saturday morning, until two hours before we were supposed to go, she wanted to wear her fancy dress. But that pales in comparison to getting your toe nails painted.

Walking along the waterfront at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Not going to the number 1 playground in New York, and having ice cream afterwards.

Carousel at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Great view from the carousel. She didn’t seem to enjoy it so much going around in circle.

Not riding the horsey.  Going round and round in circles. (In all fairness I didn’t really enjoy that myself. I got a bit motion sickness.  She didn’t look all that thrilled when we got off. )

Watching the water and other kids play. At least she got wet.

Not the great waterpark that we had to walk to the dessert (also known as the desolate, shadeless, unfinished Pier 2 to 5). But when we got there, she stood on the side watching.  As usual.

None of these compared to getting your toe nails painted.
