Did You Know??

that eating lettuce and spring mix salad helps grow your hair long???  That’s right. Or at least this is what a 3-year-old toddler believes.  Lettuce and spring mix salad even with tomatoes and feta cheese in it is hardly appealing to a toddler. But eating around the lettuce was getting a little old. Since O is super obsessed with her hair (probably because it took so long for it to grow), DH told her the other day that lettuce makes your hair grow long just like Miss J at school. So she put one piece in her mouth, and declared, I LOVE LETTUCE!! Look at my hair!! It’s growing long and long and long.  DH: Oh my goodness, I see it growing before my eyes!  O: My hair will be long and long like Mommy’s! (I have short shoulder length hair…O’s is actually longer than mine!)

We now have to get her to eat more than just the one piece!!  But what a good way to get her to eat stuff she doesn’t really want to try… associate it with something she LOVES!!  DH is sooo creative!

UPDATE: Last night we had asparagus, which if you really want really really long hair you must eat. This is why Daddy has short hair…because he doesn’t eat his green veggies.  Mommy has long hair because she eats her veggies.  O ate her asparagus last night!!!
