I Miss My Mommy!

My mom and I talk on the phone every few days or so. I usually talk to her in the morning, either as I am walking to the office, or just as I walk into the office.  The last two weeks while she has been on vacation with her granddaughter, I have missed chatting with her, yelling at her, and being annoyed at her. I know, I am probably not the best daughter… my friend went to see her mom last weekend, and I asked her, Oh, can you yell at your mom a bit??? You know, just to make me feel better??  Just like mine and O’s relationship, where sometimes we fight like cats and dogs, so do my mom and I.  I can’t wait for her to come back and get back to our usual routine!

About RidgewoodMom

Thirtysomething mom of a baby girl. First and only baby, possibly. First baby amongst my close friends. These are the trials, frustrations and lessons I have learned in raising a single child in New York.
