Election Day 2010

As has become our tradition, this morning O and I went to vote.  Same picture, with the same sign, Vote Here, was taken.  Her interest in her mommy performing her civic duty ended quite quickly, as she started talking about watching Monsters when she made it to day care.

I did enjoy the new ballots, reminded me of taking the SATs.

But on a side note, as a complaint.  It really infuriates me when DH takes absolutely no interest in plans. But as soon as I make them, or as soon as we get close to the day of the said event or plan, DH starts making his opinions know.  Like, he says he should have something earlier. Or the standard default response, You always make the plans you want to make.  But he forgets that I always give alternatives. Do you want to do A or B? Response, I don’t care, whatever. So I chose and I move forward.  But the complaints come, and they are never helpful since it’s usually too late do to anything about them.  Pain in my rear end!!

About RidgewoodMom

Thirtysomething mom of a baby girl. First and only baby, possibly. First baby amongst my close friends. These are the trials, frustrations and lessons I have learned in raising a single child in New York.

Sadly I think this is a typical manifestation of the y chromosome

After complaining about this today to someone else, she too said the same thing. So then we commiserated on the subway!
