And Other Things…

The last three days, at work we have been marking color proofs using 35 mm slides. It’s something that we don’t do so much of anymore because everything is digital.  But the last few days, going through the proofs with my boss, it’s been awesome and exhilarating.  It was too bad the subject matter was really disgusting… skin disorders… on all kinds of people, babies, kids. It was really gross. (You kind of have to stop looking at the subject matter, just look at the color, the dots.) Poor little ones who can’t do anything about it!

When O was born via C-section, when they brought O to DH, the first thing he saw was a little red splotch next to her lip.  And his first thought was Oh, poor baby, we’ll have to have surgery for that.  Fortunately it was just gook (and yes, that is the official medical term) from the uterus.

But now, they are packed, and off to get color corrected and I won’t have to look at the proofs for another three weeks! YEY!

I am very thankful that O is happy and healthy.  And except for her stubbornness, she is pretty perfect!
