World Cup Update

On Saturday, we spent a lovely day with our friends who made Fish and Chip from scratch with homemade tartar sauce (YUMMY)… And O even tried a small bite of the fish. She of course loved the tartar sauce.  But the day turned sour when the US lost.  Which was just in time for O to start saying U.S.A.

Today I realized why.  No, not because the US let a goal really early on, and didn’t pull it together again.  Not because of bad ref calls.  But because this time I dress O in a little dress outfit instead of her USA muscle shirt and red star hot pants.

Tarte Titou is now expecting their first baby. She looks really good and happy!  Fortunately for her, O was on her best behavior, which would be less scary than having a screaming, cranky, crying toddler.  We missed her baby shower because of previous engagement, and I of course went off the registry, and I figured since she was so much into food, and cooking, that she would be making her baby homemade food.  So I got her some stuff to start her off on the food making.  And accessories needed to keep baby happy!! Bowls, soft tip spoons, food storage (I haven’t tried these. When making O’s food I used these for storage) fruit mesh holder, a thermos for holding food hot or cold, and lots of well wishes!
