Frankie Doll & Bobo Crisis of 2010

Wouldn't you be upset if I tried taking this cuteness away from you?

As usual, in the morning she gets up, I pick her up from her crib, and she brings the

Frankie Doll with her.  She hugs him, we pet him, point at his nose while she drinks her milk.  This morning we got ready for day care, and I asked to start putting the stuff away that she played with, including to put the Frankie Doll in the crib where he belongs.  WEEEEEELLLLLLL…. That was a mistake. Both DH and I had to wrestle with her to try to get the Frankie Doll out of her hands, with her bowl hair flying all over the place shaking her head NOOOOO.  We tried again… NADA!  So we are OK, fine, she can carry him in the car. We put her in the car seat. We pull up at day care, I take her out of her car seat, and she is holding onto the dog for dear life.  She went with the Frankie Doll to day care.  But she will have to come home with the Frankie Doll, otherwise, there will be some chaos to be had!!

Then we go pick her up at day care.  Frankie Doll was in her cubbyhole, and she runs over to get him.  But another crisis is a brewing…. O lost her pacifier (aka the Bobo) at the park, so when we left day care, she had no pacifier in her mouth.  She proceeded to cry, with hysterics and hiccups all the way home.  She would stop every 5 minutes or so, and then she would start again!  When we parked the car, usually she wants to walk home, but this time, she was so sad, I had to carry her home all the way.  And the Frankie Doll was tightly held under her arm!  The second we walked in, she ran to her crib to pull out a Bobo.  Finally HAPPINESS!
