The best part about being your mom

1. When you get up in the morning or after a nap and you are not fully awake and you take 15 minutes or so to put your head on my shoulder.
2. Taking naps together. Although I can’t sleep I love to have you next to me.
3. That I know what makes you laugh. Roaring like a lion. Eating your toes.
4. How you start laughing when both me and your dad laugh even though you have no idea what’s so funny.
5. Doing your camera face.
6. Singing Eiaeio
7. The naughty finger. Even though it’s naughty it’s super cute and entertaining.
8. How you go into your toy box and almost fall in head first because you want that one toy at the bottom under everything else.
9. How proud you are of yourself when you are walking.
10. Calling for your father when he’s outside or banging on the window to get his attention.

About RidgewoodMom

Thirtysomething mom of a baby girl. First and only baby, possibly. First baby amongst my close friends. These are the trials, frustrations and lessons I have learned in raising a single child in New York.
