O and Ducks

When O was 6 months, her aunt and I took her to the Zoo.  I think she was too little to see the animals.  At one point we were in front of a fish tank that a 5 foot long fish.  What did O notice??  The big bubbles from the filter.

Then we went into the penguin house, where the penguins swim right up to the window, so she would totally see them.  So those she was taking intrest in them.

This weekend, she met her first real ducks in person.  She try to make the Quack Quack sound, so meeting the ducks must have been just amazing for her.  The ducks were in a pretty swanky park, so they were pretty much domesticated.  Came up to people.  Looking for food.

Look at the duckies!!

Look at the duckies!!

There were some ducklings as well, and they came right up to her.  She was screaming with excitement and jumping up and down. And we fed them some of her puffies, and they just kept coming back.  Granted at one point it felt a bit like Hitchcock’s Birds.
