In addition to her recent obsession with my sister, Lina, O has now taken quite a liking to her father. This is a really great relief to me, probably not so much to Cacky. He has become such a favorite, that he has been requested for poopy diaper changes (his favorite), reading stories, and playing tea time.
The other morning, we were sitting on the couch, O was on her father’s lap, and we were watching NY1 (our daily source of news). She was chatting away about Everybody, blah blah (incomprehensible) doing. And more chatting of what every one is doing. I look over at her, and she responds. No, Mommy, watch TV. I look at the TV for a second, then I look back at her. NO, Mommy, watch TV. Both DH and I start laughing. She chats away with her dad, while I am watch TV as have been previously instructed.
Then I look over at her again, and she grabs my face with her little hands, and points my head toward the TV. Watch T.V., Mommy!! I just burst out laughing. She is just so bossy.
As my friends pointed out, it might not be so cute when in three years when she tells her little friend, No, I don’t want to talk to you right now. Go away.
